Hi!
My name is Danny and I have been using Joomla for four days now. I have for the past two months been using Drupal but I found it very difficult to resolve the problems I had, because of the technical language used on their forum. I finally admitted defeat with Drupal after three days of unsuccessfully trying to find out which modules would facilitate a change to the registration page. Possibly, at sixty two, I am too old to learn new disciplines, but I don’t think so. I have signed up to Lynda.com, ordered a copy of Joomla for Dummies, and downloaded ChronoForms.
The web site I am building could have some legal ramifications and I would require a registration form almost exactly the same as the one I filled out to register with Joomla UK North West (JUKNW brilliant idea). I tried recreating that form with ChronoForms, but when I selected “Joomla Registration” it defaulted to the basic format of : Name, Username, Email address, Password, Confirm Password and Register. I am hoping that someone can give me some advice on how duplicate that registration form.
I would also appreciate some advice on the best Joomla ‘beginner’ tutorial books, videos, etc.
Regards
Danny(dankel8)
